If you regularly produce tutorials on computer skills or on how to use a program you might want to try Jing, the always-ready program that instantly captures and shares images and video, from your computer to anywhere. Jing is free software you can use to make a narrated video (if you have a microphone) showing how to do something on a computer. It records your mouse, and everything you click on and show on your screen.
If you're teaching your class how to produce their first video project, you can create the tutorial first during your prep time then upload it on your class website or save it in the class network. During class you can show the video that you've made and be able to walk around monitoring kids or offering assistance where needed. What's good about using a video tutorial in class is you can use the video you created instead of teaching the same thing again and again, making your life a little easier and using your time more efficiently.
You can also use Jing personally when having an online conversations with family members who lives too far away for a face to face interaction. Jing lets you add visuals to your online conversations. Jing captures anything on you see on your computer screen, as an image or short video, and lets you share it
