Talking Text

Talking text is often called text-to-speech.  Word on the screen are read by the computer. on command. In some cases, the words need to be highlighted first but it allows reading of individual words or phrases. It works with word processors, websites and more.

Talking text helps the students who struggle with the task of composing grammatically correct sentences. It also help those who could benefit from hearing omissions or inaccuracies in their work. It is also good for those who could benefit from auditory input to support reading

Talking text allows a student to select individual words that they may be having problems with. Emerging writers experience between the spoken and the written word from the writing perspective.

Talking Clipboard -  is a text to speech software with inbuilt RSS reader. You can define alias or IPA pronunciation for words. It can read a large number of native document file formats directly like PDF, DOC, ePub, RTF, HTML and TXT or can read text from any application using clipboard.
