 My daughter built mBot this weekend. We choose this kit because it allows my daughter to do graphical programming language scratch as well as the code programming Python. Assembling was also not difficult.

 Here are some websites that will help your child/students practice his/her/their reading skills. 

1. Starfall - offers interactive reading and math games and activities, songs, as well as free printable resources. 

2. Mighty Book - offers free animated stories, songs and games

3. Roy The Zebra - offers free stories as well as  before and after questions about each literary piece

Here are websites that offers free books:

1. Between The Lions Early Reading by PBS Learning Media - offers video of books being read with each words highlighted while being read. Resources are organized by reading skills such as phonemic awareness, fluency, phonics, etc

2. Epic - offers thousands of books for Grade K-5 students

Math Teaching Tools

 Here are some tools that you can use in teaching Math. 

1. Didax - offers virtual manipulatives that make math concepts interesting enhancing learning whether in the classroom or at home.  

2. Mathigon - a safe platform that contains free activities and resources for the mathematics curriculum

3. Prodigy Game - offers game that adapts to the child's learning style and grade. It allows students to practice math skills in an action packed fantasy adventure. 

Background Eraser

 Do you need to erase background from your pictures? Here are a few tools that you can access through your browser that will work

1. Pixlr - This is a free automatic background removal tool. If you are not satisfied with the result you can fine tune it. I usually use the magic tool when i clicked the fine tune button.

2. Lunapic - This is another photo editor that lets you erase the background of your pictures by selecting Transparent Background from the Edit drop down menu.
