Interactive Books

If you want to take a break from the repetitive reading to your baby, the Vtech Slide 'N Learn Storybook is a good solution, that is if he or she can already flip the pages. Although of course reading it with her would still be better.

This electronic Slide ‘n Learn Storybook is about Winnie the Pooh and friends. It has eight full-color pages with sliding, turning and peek-a-boo elements that teach my baby counting and opposites.Songs and spoken content guide the way through the interactive teaching pages that engage with sliding, turning and peek-a-boo elements. The captivating spoken content and sing-along songs keep my baby fascinated. She loves sliding the honey pot lid open and close, sliding Tigger up and down and the ball left and right. She also likes the light-up beehive that keeps the pages turning.

Another book that I want to try with my baby is the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Storybook Rhymes
since she loves being read rhymes a lot. This storybook is supposed to teach baby letters, numbers, colors and first words. The friendly Bookworm character "holds" the book as baby flips through the pages to hear storytime melodies, or press one of the three learning buttons to learn . The blinking lights show baby which page to look at.
